York Space Systems Launches Dragoon Mission to Support SDA's Missile Warning and Connectivity Goals
York Space Systems (York), a defense technology company transforming how the United States builds and operates space-based capabilities, today announced the successful deployment and contact with its Dragoon mission, a contract executed under an accelerated timeline for the Space Development Agency (SDA). The satellite launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on June 23, 2025, with York establishing communications within two hours of deployment.
