York seeks an individual with excellent communication skills, a skilled listener and adept learner, having initiative and a desire to grow.
Proposal Management Responsibilities
Leads, manages, and coordinates the preparation of winning proposal documents. Work with Capture Management to understand superior value proposition and plan communication within proposal response. Analyze customer solicitations (RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc.) and other customer requirements. Shred solicitation to prepare proposal outline, make page allocations and author assignments, and prepare compliance matrix. Plan and prepare proposal development artifacts including Storymaps and templates. Establish and manage proposal preparation schedule. Identify and plan resources needed to prepare solicitation responses. Coordinate and lead proposal meeting events including Kick-off, Status, and Color Reviews. Manage proposal development including writing, editing, illustration, production, and delivery. Provide guidance and training to proposal writers and contributors. Work with teammates in proposal preparation.
Capture Management Responsibilities
Work with Capture Leadership to understand and develop customers’ requirements, needs and wants. Assist in developing the superior value proposition. Participate in competitive analysis and price-to-win development.
•BS/BA in technical or communications field
•Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
•Ability to work a flexible schedule as proposal rhythms demand
•Excellent grammar skills
•Demonstrated strong technical writing skills
•Relevant experience is a plus
